| RF portable terminals communicate with the AS/400 via radio signals. A receiver/transmitter (AccessPoint) with antennas is directly wired to the AS/400 providing real-time connection to the host computer. The AccessPoint device is located in the warehouse-typically in the ceiling-so that all locations in the warehouse have RF coverage. |
